How Many Margaritas In A Bucket

The secret to happiness

This question I raised in those debates, criticizing or defending positions, leaving the bush ends and challenging substantive issues, with questions like: Who says what is right and what is wrong, What is good? What is wrong? Etc. is generally considered "smart" to the person who presents the discussion from this perspective. Since it is a very profound and debated. However, most of the time, is used as a device to end an argument without reaching a clear consensus, so as not to expose "the lack of argument" of the position adopted at first. But the worst is that people tend to raise it, do not even bother to reply to that question themselves. Throw it like a bomb and run away because they can not turn it off. This is typical of the intellectual mediocrity of the society around us. Question everything and do not respond at all.

However we do have an answer, and write it to be finished talking the talk, and begin to talk and discuss to grow.

Lets get started

If we speak of good and evil, we are entering into what is called Moral. Speaking of morality is to reflect on the behavior, attitudes, choices of a person. Speaking of morality is also thinking about the consequences of that behavior. Speaking of morality is to ask whether these behaviors and attitudes help or hurt the performance and happiness of the individual.

first 3 questions must be clear:

A particular conduct is not immoral, simply because they are considered illegal in one place or time in history.

Morality is not identified totally with a feeling or intuition.

Morality does not coincide with the behavior found acceptable by a majority decision.

In short, the morality of acts is not dependent on consensus or the feelings and the laws.

Why?

Because moral, referred to the full realization of the individual. So we define as acts BUENOS the behavior that leads a man to be truly human, regardless of what will eventually determine the religion or laws, covenants agreed or the intuitions of sense.

So what is it good?, Which perfects human nature, the essence of man. And of course bad otherwise.

To distinguish between what is good and bad, it should be noted that it is essential to man and his unique human nature. That is what identifies you as a human being and distinguishes it above all other creatures.

reflection, we see that these items are "right", "will", "freedom" shown at its best: love.

us comment

examples to be clearer still:

is essential to man "to be sociable." That it fulfilling occurrence and improve as a person. We clearly realize because if a child is born among the wolves end walk on all fours and howling, and therefore not perfect but its essence denigrates, resembling an animal, like the wolf. Losing part of the capabilities listed above.

From

already say that everything that threatens the health and corrupts the man, the "imperfections" and "hurts" is not so good. (Example: Murder)

Example: If I druggie and I become addicted, this is bad because I was not fulfilling occurrence, not perfect because I lose my freedom, will, and if it damages my brain cells could be my reason.

Example: if I'm with my family very hungry and I have to share a meal. That sharing is me fulfilling occurrence in love, brotherhood ... so if I dominate "the desire and instinct," I resemble an animal and not a person. On the contrary if prioritized my will and reason that illuminates my actions did well, ie fulfilling occurrence me about my essence as a person.

Of course there are actions for different reasons, "the circumstances", "pressure" and other factors, called the debate to conclude whether they are good or bad, or to what extent good and to what extent no. Say you are situations complex and not as clear as the examples given, but mindful of the premises established in the beginning, you can give a debate and clarify the issue as possible. Agreeing and grow in mutual dialogue.

Obviously if you do not share the premises, using only sentimentalists and relativistic arguments, no discussion or moral or otherwise makes sense, and in that case, I recommend reading the article of "truth." If on the other hand do not share it by having another argument based "in any rational reflection, we would like to share it and grow it all.

The article ends here, and it is simply to make clear some assumptions of which we break and reflect on other writings.
