My Greyhound Has Dry Skin

"My Tai Chi" birthday.

We
birthday. The blog "My Tai Chi" birthday. More than 50,000 hits, 177 entries and best of all, you that you do your reading and commenting this blog may proceed. Without doubt, it is you who give life and meaning to "My Tai Chi." I want to thank you for being there, and feel close to and follow.

are many blogs that open and close quickly, within a few weeks, maybe a few months. I understand that, at times I thought about quitting the blog, leave when he saw that all My effort came down to not receive the necessary feedback. The comments were scarce as the flowers in the desert.

But I was lucky. I found a way to continue the blog, I was hooked to the design and modification of the template, I tried a thousand changes, transforms again and again until finally, I learned a few tricks. From time to time, published some input and, little by little, began to know what it was blogs.

During all these months I have been connected to people with interesting blogs that I became a follower and, while they mine. Has gradually built up a small community of good people, people sharing a common interest: the blogs as a means to convey their ideas, emotions, feelings and moods, people also find a speck of interest in tai chi. For all this, I get a big hug.

Many thanks to you all. Thanks for making this possible.

How To Re Do A Car Interior

knee problems associated with the practice of Tai Chi.

En base a mi experiencia y a mis conocimientos (quiero dejar claro que ni soy médico, ni fisioterapéuta, only a practitioner of tai chi for several years) I can confirm that knee injuries are among the most common diseases by practicing tai chi chuan. Why? Well, throughout this article will have occasion to find out. Keep reading.

Causes and Risk Factors .

  • Having had previous diseases before the knee torn ligaments, cartilage problems, etc. Problems
  • arthrosis, arthritis, ... largely associated with age and sedentary lifestyles. Practice
  • surface or use inappropriate footwear, too slippery, irregular, unsafe ... etc.
  • characteristic postures and movements of tai chi: constant flexing of the knees, turns, etc.
  • Poor postural technique associated with insufficient experience in the practice of tai chi chuan.
  • Overweight, obesity and bad eating habits. A heavier, higher burden of the lower extremities.

knee problems associated with the practice of Tai Chi .

  • Overloads lower limb muscle.
  • inflammation of the tendons (tendinitis), especially in patellar tendons of the knees.
  • Reactivation of Osgood Schlatter disease, inflammation of the anterior tuberosity of the patella.
  • Bursitis (inflammation of the bursa beneath the patellar tendon).
  • sprains and torn ligaments.
  • Damage to the meniscus: total or partial breaks, etc. Accelerated wear
  • bone of the knee joint: artritris and osteoarthritis.

Preventive Measures.

  • At the start, makes a good warm the whole body, but especially the lower limbs and trunk.
  • If you tend to suffer discomfort in the knee joints, then pay special attention to this area, heating it more thoroughly.
  • At the end of the session, do not forget to relax and stretch the muscles of the body, especially the lower limbs.
  • Discard footwear worn or damaged. Watch
  • the ground, trying to practice tai chi on suitable surfaces, smooth, no bumps, not too much or too little glide, etc.
  • If you notice discomfort or pain in the knees, a few days left to train, rest and take the opportunity to visit the doctor. If you continue training, it is likely that the disease be extended in time, even getting worse.
  • The use of knee, put ice or anti-inflammatory creams can be applied to partially relieve the pain, but do not solve the problem. So, watch out.
  • Listen to your body and not too much force posture. The bids too low, sharp turns and jumping could end up taking its toll repeated in the form of injury.
  • Be scrupulous
  • postural technique, trying to adopt at all times the correct posture.
  • If you count on your biography with a history of knee injuries, surgeries on them, etc, it might be advisable for money if you really worth practicing tai chi.

Remember: Your health is always first. Take all precautionary measures that are within your reach when practicing tai chi, acting with care and wisdom and, finally, if despite all the problems begin, visit the doctor without hesitation and follow all directions. No doubt any odds, they are the most knowledgeable.

receive a big hug and good practice!

How Babies Get Psoriasis

Quality Assessment of the Implementation of a Form of Tai Chi. Video.

then offer you a great video of Chen style tai chi. Tino Wong is done. See it and enjoy it. Below I will tell you 12 reasons why I think a masterful performance. Worthwhile.

Salient features of the realization of how Chen style tai chi:
  • rate changes, movements performed in slow motion followed by other much faster, explosive.
  • combination of moves to different heights, highlighting in particular the positions available, very low.
  • eyes virtually always follow the movement of hands, a sure sign of concentration on what is taking place.
  • fluid movements, continuous. Impossible to tell where one ends and the next begins is not known if this style of tai chi.
  • perfect coordination between the different parts of the body, legs, trunk, arms, hands and eyes.
  • Viewing
  • defense-attack technique applied to the opponent while running the way, step by step.
  • extension movements executed with the fair, or too short or too elongated, whilst maintaining a balanced stance at all times.
  • aftertaste in the execution of form. It is sensed that the practitioner is going really well.
  • Recreation in the aesthetic movement, making it attractive at the same time practical. It seems she was dancing in the countryside.
  • expressive hands, made subtle and varied movements. Are alive, relaxed. Support
  • stable. The feet rest gently on the ground, giving grace and striking movements.
  • The spine is the distributor shaft movements. Boosts energy to the upper body, arms and hands.

Tai Chi: Poetry in Motion. Forms of Tai Chi

The tai chi as meditation in motion system contributes to the practitioner an alternative way of seeing and perceiving the surrounding reality. Reached the proper state of mind can learn to see and hear not only the eyes and ears, but also throughout the body. Practicing tai chi awakens us, opens us and makes us more receptive, more sensitive. We learn to see with his hands and, therefore, the whole body. We feel more and better. connect with ourselves, but also with our outside. What went unnoticed by us, now we see clearly. "How is it possible that I had not realized before this?" We tell ourselves surprised.

dancing feet on the ground and our heart sings, the wind caress our hands and our eyes delight in anything. Driven by unseen hands we get carried away to the rhythm of silence, no more aim than to enjoy the moment. Changing direction, forward and backward, our soul is cradled and sleep, tremendous peace, peace. From the singing of the bird to the cricket Cri-Cri, through the color of the clouds and the swaying of wheat swayed by the wind, everything we perceive. It is a joyful state of being, of pure enjoyment. Blurred in the context of our soul sees us moving from one stratum from another establishment. And we continue, without stopping, slowly, the pace of the ant, slowly, slowly and calmly. If he runs, he runs the time. No rush, no clock, no time. As the breeze mounted on the back of a dry leaf on the ground.

Dare to practice tai chi, take a chance. Surely you deserve.

Bleeding 8 Days Before Period Is To Start

"Empty" and "full."

Joshua, a faithful follower of this blog and also practicing tai chi, that his teacher once said: "One way (sequence of movements) is learned in three days but it takes three years to perfect it. "

On the surface, a person may be running a form properly, but basically, no. On the surface realization of a set of movements we call "empty form." Apparently, the performer does well, but it lacks something, and that "something" it shows.

To form this "full" needs to meet certain requirements:
  • That each position is accurate, stable, balanced, full and defined, ie is not "half."
  • That the practitioner mentally visualize the martial application of each movement.
  • And how (I repeat, sequence of movements) emerge as an external manifestation of inner energy of the practitioner.

my point of view, a perfect aesthetic movement is not hard to get, just copy and correcting the positions of the various parts of the body, but is "charged" energy ... this really requires more dedication and more practice time.

The difference between a movement "empty" and a "full" is obvious. In fact, is what makes the difference between the execution of a person to a more experienced rookie. Even I speak in person, despite already having a few years of practicing tai chi, but there are days that I I propose, how hopelessly out empty.

What factors can block the execution of "full motion"?
  • Physical exhaustion, but also mental illness, stress, depression ...
  • course, take some time practicing tai chi.
  • Other aspects: from changing the usual place of practice or a training companion to train with uncomfortable clothes or shoes.

As for the benefits of practicing tai chi, is there a difference between making empty forms or forms filled? Yes, there are differences. In general, the implementation of full movements bring to the practitioner of tai chi more benefits. But let's see in more detail:
  • empty forms provide the performer: strength and muscle elasticity, increased joint mobility and improvements in body coordination ... Exactly the same benefits as practicing other mild physical activity.
  • Running bring completed forms in addition to this, something more, mainly: psycho-physical energy (and the consequent reduction in the risk of diseases, least from the Oriental medical concept based energy meridians), a greater capacity for concentration and a broader and deeper perception of the reality body's own capabilities and limitations.

And as a picture is worth a thousand words, then I offer two videos to compare and make you a better idea.

Running Form 24 Movements Tai Chi Yang Style: FULL FORM .

Running Form 24 Movements Yang Style Tai Chi: empty form.

The fundamental difference between the first video (a full) and the second (blank form) is the subtlety with which the practitioner moves the first video hands and, by extension, the arms. They are always relaxed, do not reflect any strain or tension. In contrast, in the second video we see as the practitioner does not just relax the arms or hands. It seems that it does well, the positions seem perfect, but that detail reveals that its shape is superficial, aesthetically correct, but empty.

Therefore, this tai chi, shortcuts do not work. It's all about tenacity, interest and continued practice. A big hug to all-as.

Animation Of Aspiration

My Journal of Tai Chi. Responsibility

Monday, October 26, 2009 .

Today I practiced "forms." There has been a good day. I practice traditional forms such as the Yang style 108, and then other makeshift. The incumbents have done well, but by practicing impromptu forms I realized who was somewhat limited repertoire and performing movements that are repeated enough.

want to look at various movements on the contrary I get to my ultimate goal: to let myself go, flow, drain freely and naturally movements. I thought as I moved and this was the problem. I was locked and I felt bad feelings. Finally, I stopped. It's the best I could do. Come and other days where the inspiration of the moment make me fly over the tatami.

  • repeats the same sort of attack or defense in different directions.
  • Application to different numbers of attackers.
  • Variations in the type of attack received ... etc.

is a meeting, without a doubt, basic and fundamental in my training schedule. I know that if it costs me, gives me many things: a better technical quality executions, more balanced body and, of course, important to better physical condition.

Wednesday, October 21, 2009 .

Today I have a quirk: I have practiced chi kung throughout an entire hour. As most will know they are exercises for awakening and balancing the energy within the body. If you're too tense, chi kung practice, relax, and conversely, if you need to recharge your batteries, with appropriate exercises chi kung salts renewed after one session.

Today, after the completion of the routine series of warm up and introduction to chi kung back to basics, I have focused on trying to escape, precisely, the usual energy exercises to be slight variations that make me feel good "vibes." These changes have ranged from executing certain exercises in the opposite direction, for example, try opening and closing over the arms, bending and flexing a little more or less the trunk and knees, or just trying to build a little momentum from waist to make a run less forceful and more relaxed. I left very satisfied with the training. It has given me good and I managed to find some variation in which I have to continue insisting in coming days.

Monday, October 19, 2009 .

Today I worked basic positions of the legs. Of particular interest are the small rotations when I keep a position for as long as I can, because it helps me to put up with the position without tiring quickly. It also promotes lubrication of all joints involved in the maintenance of posture, especially the knees and hips. I recommend it to everyone. To me it's going very well.

consider training on Monday as basic and essential. While learning the basic positions of the legs is the foundation of everything else. Our body is sustained by the legs and this is important. It contributes to a hardening around the lower body, preparing for, then later, put up with warranties training forms, push hands, self defense ... etc.

Friday, October 16, 2009 .

Today I started practicing tai chi in a place that I am not used: the school gym where I work. Usually I practice in a park near home, but care is so bad and even dangerous (the soil from slipping you'll quickly), taking to School gym near home, it seems silly not take advantage.

As I walk to work at about 9.00 am, what I did was to go before, from 7.30 to 8.30, thus providing a half hour to wash up and prepare to begin teaching.

Although I missed the place the first 20 minutes, then everything has gone smoothly. I've trained well, even better than expected. The location while not ideal, at least not drained, thus decreasing the chances of slip and injure. Another advantage of the gym is that now that is cold, at least be under roof, which should always be grateful. Ojo! I do not say that will not leave the park occasionally. I will, especially on weekends, for that which the school is closed.

Wednesday, October 14, 2009 .

Today I start a new section on this blog: "My Journal." It'll expose every day, whenever I can, what, in my opinion, I find it more significant and important training conducted that day.

Today I went to train at night. The darkness accentuates every way. The sensations from the body becoming visible. Today I felt plethoric. During training, from almost the beginning, I've been wanting. Forces have accompanied me all the time. I felt revosante. By practicing chi kung clearly how the energy was flowing through my body, back and forth. By inspiring, and filled me, as you breathe, I emptied completely. Even as back home, he was different, with more aplomb.

asked me for my body could have continued to train longer, but I ended the session in due course. Need to reserve energy for training tomorrow.

About Tai Chi Master Time to Teach Aggressive Students. Tai Chi

"If you give a lighter to a pyromaniac,
part of the responsibility of
arson is the person who has given his lighter."

There are people with serious aggressive behavior problems, very conflicting, practicing martial arts. The martial art in the hands of a madman aggressive can be a disaster. Martial arts requires the responsibility to implement it.

martial art, whatever it is, is a double-edged sword: good teaching can help to redirect and change people's violent behavior, but poorly trained, can contribute even more to promote aggressive behavior.

One thing is to learn a martial art to learn to defend themselves and quite another to learn to go strutting around to the other remarkable display of martial skills learned.

Hence the need for prior assessment by the teacher or monitor people in their care.

  • A teacher or monitor should be responsible for their actions, of what is taught and who teaches it.
  • The teacher or monitor has an obligation and duty to choose their pupils.
  • If anyone needs to learn martial arts, is one who knows control their aggression. However, this requires a teacher or monitor that sits and is truly qualified. If you do not feel able to redirect the aggressive behavior of a disciple, is best left to teach martial arts. If, however, one is convinced that it can be harnessed, go ahead and teach. Any martial art is a useful tool to help transform and change the behavior: to release inner tensions and to learn to control aggression.

I know that today is almost a utopia even raise this issue.
  • That people will so far: to give their classes and then every man for himself.
  • given tai chi to pull out a bonus.
  • That no master or monitor in their right mind would prevent a client comes to their classes while passing a box every month.
  • fact, that no teacher or monitor has the power or ability to deny care to anyone, because that power rests with the owner of the gym.
  • And, if the teacher or monitor refuses to teach him, you probably have to deal with the owner of the gym and then resign to continue taking classes at the gym and therefore extra monthly income.

This is what you get. This is the decision to be made by the monitor or teacher: Being faithful to one's principles or commune with millstones.

Lincoln Ls Speaker Instructions

Moments.

When creating choreography various tai chi, and by that I mean improvised forms of movement, inspired me in many different circumstances:

  • From watching a video on tai chi or fragments of films slow-paced music (from adaggios a new age style music with artists such as Enya).
  • enjoy very much watching everything around me, from the slow movement of certain animals such as turtles or ant branch swaying in the wind.
  • The same trees, lush and still inspire me a lot. There are, as always, holding the sun, rain and wind, immutable and without turning minor. Sometimes trying to feel them hug. Call me "weird" if you want, I love hugging trees.
  • I get carried away too by the sound of flowing water streams, wind and sound of the leaves of the trees and the tinkling of rain falling on the floor.
  • inspires me a lot of dance, whether classical or contemporary, even the good flamenco.
  • Then, there are also certain places which in themselves are a real challenge to let go practicing tai chi. They are magical, have the power to make me dance without music. The latter understood.
  • Dreams and some memories of the past also inspire me. Create moods very appropriate and conducive to the practice of tai chi.
  • Finally, some reading and thinking about it puts the finishing touch to my daily practice, being able to jump the spark and suddenly understand and realize something: a new idea, that changes and transforms the way I move.

In short, when one is open, receptive, find a thousand and one ways to be inspired. And to you fellow-a, What inspires you when practicing tai chi?

How Do I Get My Immunization Records In Ontario

Attention in the Tai Chi Chuan.

The tai chi is characterized by performing slow, harmonious and delicate with an automated execution and repeatedly induce states of consciousness in the practitioner as the absorption or relaxation.

addition to a soft gym type or method of relaxation in movement, tai chi is a martial art. As such, the attitude of absorption or isolation of what is happening around us is, in my opinion, wrong attitude, even dangerous under what circumstances. Faced with a difficult or adverse situation (for example, against a hypothetical enemy) you have to be very attentive, instead of being sleepy or withdrawn.

be awake, alert to everything around us, this is the right attitude in combat situations. Learn to feel our immediate environment should be the objective or goal. Check what is happening around us, developing our ability to perceive in the situation.

Therefore, by practicing tai chi for long enough it creates a struggle: the struggle between being carried away by the drowsiness or stay awake. Personally, I find it much easier to turn inward to remain alert. The alert status is not easy to achieve, requires training and staging, have a clear goal and persevere. How do I get it?

I present a method that I use. You might also help you get there. My method consists of two phases or stages in the medium term (ie training involved several months, about a year to achieve an acceptable level of care): 1 .-
  • Analytic phase: where to focus attention on a Voluntary on stimuli perceived by one sense (or sight or hearing or touch). Thus, prior to the meeting, I establish what I will focus all my attention, for example: on the sounds that come from outside me.

  • = Analytic phase I focus on ... A or B or C or D. ..

  • 2 .- Phase Integrative : Where gradually try to learn to be attentive to each of the stimuli perceived through the senses (vision, hearing and touch, mainly). The practitioner of tai chi becomes a kind of processor that seeks to integrate, combine and synthesize all the stimuli perceived via different sensory organs.

  • Phase
    inclusive = I focus on ... A and B and C and D. ..

Here are some guidelines suggest that you work during your sessions of tai chi:
  • auditory sensations.
    • Focus on auditory stimuli from the outside. Find
    • its source of various auditory stimuli.
    • discern the approximate distance about their own location based on the perceived loudness of sounds.
  • visual sensations. Increase
    • visual field (peripheral vision) ABAC trying to look as much space as possible around us.
    • estimated the distance of objects in the environment about one's location.
    • detect stationary or moving objects.
    • discern between objects or areas of risk or danger of harmless or beneficial. Develop
    • attention to detail: size, color, weight, construction material ...
    • Learn to turn your gaze systematically the most significant aspects for personal safety. Remember
    • details of objects previously seen. Touch
  • .
    • Pay attention to the sensations plantar (foot).
    • Pay attention to sensations perceived through his hands.
    • Feel the sensations of wind, rain or shine on the skin.

In short, when faced with adverse situations, danger, we must be alert and perceive the space around us those elements (people, objects, areas) more significant to leave it in the best possible. Being alert is a trainable ability, ie the continuous and systematic practice to develop. In this article I have offered a series of lines of action that can be perform well while practicing tai chi.

A big hug to all-as and "we follow the track."

Milena Velba Forced In The Bus

The Practice of Tai Chi in the West and East: Differences.

(Tai Chi Chuan is a path of comprehensive development of man) .

Tai chi chuan is widespread today throughout the world. In this article I defend the following idea: The practice of tai chi chuan in the East and West is different.

Concern for the health and quality of life are directly related to the level of development of a society. A higher standard of living in society, the greater concern for the care of the body, and vice versa. The increased availability of free time and greater purchasing power have made flower-growing industry and body care. By contrast, in poor or underdeveloped societies with little economic power, interest in the care of the body is reduced to meet the vital needs, for example, obtaining their daily bread.

But there is an issue that really catches my attention. Bodily practices are also being developed in large depressed areas and poor. For example: India, the birthplace of yoga. How is it possible, then, that having low income and as fundamental concern for survival has, however, created and led these "methods gymnastics? The same could be said of China and tai chi chuan. Apparently, it is a contradiction, is not it?

This paradox has a simple explanation. While in the West practice tai chi or yoga to maintain physical and / or psychological, in the East is also for the development of a different dimension: the spiritual.

While Western practice of tai chi is a gymnastic method for contact with oneself, in the East, is a way of connecting with something bigger and transcendental (almost a religion).

While in the West the practice of tai chi is a method gymnastic body care and health in the East, is a way to overcome physical limitations.

Finally, I opted for one side or the other of the scale. Practicing tai chi to stay healthy I think every bit as valid as a way to practice or spiritual path. Both paths are taken in isolation reductionism. We should not reduce the practice of tai chi to the development of one dimension (physical-mental) or another (transcendental and spiritual). The tai chi, like yoga, are developing comprehensive human. Receive

a big hug and remember: "We follow the track."

Girdle To Hold Tummy In

El Rinconcito of Tai Chi: Photography.

I love this picture. The file was saved in my tai chi in a while and now I offer. It is not mine, I found surfing the internet do not know where (I knew it, cite the source). But this picture has something that I really love the look a little decadent, this corner or poor, simple people practicing tai chi and taking time beyond their daily duties (which I imagine will be many), the dog lying on the floor next to the house ajeno a cuanto pasa,... no sé tiene su encanto, ¿no crees?

Un fuerte abrazo a todos-as y recordad: "nos seguimos la pista".
