Moments.
When creating choreography various tai chi, and by that I mean improvised forms of movement, inspired me in many different circumstances: - From watching a video on tai chi or fragments of films slow-paced music (from adaggios a new age style music with artists such as Enya).
- enjoy very much watching everything around me, from the slow movement of certain animals such as turtles or ant branch swaying in the wind.
- The same trees, lush and still inspire me a lot. There are, as always, holding the sun, rain and wind, immutable and without turning minor. Sometimes trying to feel them hug. Call me "weird" if you want, I love hugging trees.
- I get carried away too by the sound of flowing water streams, wind and sound of the leaves of the trees and the tinkling of rain falling on the floor.
- inspires me a lot of dance, whether classical or contemporary, even the good flamenco.
- Then, there are also certain places which in themselves are a real challenge to let go practicing tai chi. They are magical, have the power to make me dance without music. The latter understood.
- Dreams and some memories of the past also inspire me. Create moods very appropriate and conducive to the practice of tai chi.
- Finally, some reading and thinking about it puts the finishing touch to my daily practice, being able to jump the spark and suddenly understand and realize something: a new idea, that changes and transforms the way I move.
In short, when one is open, receptive, find a thousand and one ways to be inspired. And to you fellow-a, What inspires you when practicing tai chi?
