Does Tai Chi Forget?

As everyone sebéis one of the main activities of tai chi, but the most caracterítica, is the realization of movement sequences. These sequences of varying lengths are called "forms" or "taolu" and is the typical image of the person practicing alone in the middle of a park or plaza. Learn a sequence of these, consisting of any number of movements takes time and requires repeat and repeat until fully assimilate.

There are physical activities like riding a bike or learning to swim that once learned are never forgotten. With tai chi, is happening as well? Once you learn the full form, can you come to forget? or, conversely, do you learn once and for all, forever?

Those of you, and you who have practiced tai chi or whatever you keep doing and, for whatever reason, you have been forced to leave for a season or so long, surely you already have the answer. Indeed, after a long period of "withdrawal", the driving sequences are just forgotten. But .... something remains.

In this "something" is and do not forget even if they spend months, even years, is what I call "the essence of tai chi." And, in my view, the most important. So much so that, over time, if a person who performed tai chi for some time, it takes up, then back up those beautiful feelings arising from their practice. Equally important is that "something" that serves as unforgettable Wall burden, from him, you rebuild all learning.

And is that "the body" has its memory. As a deciduous tree loses its leaves in autumn and Us we lose all information that we find anything relevant. More conseva tree branches, as we recall the essentials of the practice of tai chi.

A hug to everyone. Remember: "We follow the track. "
